The Good Hotel Guide
“…immaculate rooms with fantastic attention to detail. Meals (ranging from ham, egg and chips to duck leg confit with wild mushroom cream sauce) served in the bar or restaurant by extremely friendly staff, in relaxed manner.”
Egon Roneay’s 2006
“It has an uncluttered, sophisticated interior, with a striking long bar; mellow wooden floors and well-spaced tables.
This is the epitome of a gastropub…the restaurant is more formal but the service by a young team has the same friendly approach as in the bar. There is an attractive raised terrace where meals are served.”
Food and Drink A Surry Guide
“Should you find yourself in the lovely village of Chiddingfold, you’ll be rewarded by paying a visit to the Swan Inn”
Mobile Food Guide Report
The Swan has, once again, taken flight. After a serious and stylish makeover in 2004, this prosperous-looking, fourteenth-century Kentish pub now bills itself as an 'Inn & Restaurant'. Inside, it still feels genuinely rustic, with wood floors, bare wooden tables and real ales on tap. If you fancy something to eat, there's also a bar menu that spans everything from chicken curry to confit of duck.
